Today is the first day of my adventure in Sydney. And it has been okay so far. Got the basic stuff settled - bank account (check!), phone line (check!), contacting possible places to stay in (check!)... I guess it's just waiting for my card to come in, for the new place, for me to get used to life here and travelling here. Suddenly, don't feel like having so many changes. It just seems like a whole LOT to get the hang of. I hope I'll get through, but thank God for Ling. She's been around for the last 3 years, she's helping me with a lot of things.
We had pho for lunch, after resting from our odd-hour flight. Got the things mentioned above settled, then went to Woolsworth to get groceries. Cooked a really healthy meal - vege mee sua soup - for Ling and I. I tried to find out how to get to school tomorrow. It's gonna be a long journey, but thank God Ling kinda knows the way.
I'm praying that orientation at Macquarie (MQ) would turn out okay and I'd find nice friends there. Do pray along with me!
I'm gonna try to keep updating about Sydney as much as I can. But be patient with me if things don't get updated as much.
