Today's been a day full of roller coaster rides. Guess i didn't have to go to Hong Kong just to experience the thrill of the rides. hahaha.

Having to deal with the fact that the trip has been postponed was pretty tough initially. Ben tried to help me feel better. So did some friends. And Gerald mentioned something that is true but worthwhile. This is an excerpt of what He mentioned, "Give and take loh! Be prepared for more sacrificing on your part. haha. Being with someone who has chosen a military career have to sacrifice more i would say. :)" He is right. What he said is true but i think that the sacrifice is worth it. As much as i would love for us to tour around Hong Kong, it isn't just about me. I think i have to learn from my mother about this thing of sacrificing. I think she's the best person who can teach me to sacrifice willingly.

When i met Laura, Jasmine, Karryn and Lydia, they mentioned that results were out. Only managed to check after i got home. You know the results i got for many assignments weren't amazing. A few 'A's but quite a number of 'B's. Not much expectation. You know God really watches over His children. I really don't know how it's even possible. But i improved in my gpa by 0.04. hahah. Not a lot but i am thankful cause my previous semester's gpa was good according to my standard. THANK YOU LORD! Couldn't have done it without You.

Part of this year's theme for YZ (my church's youth group), we were to sponsor a child from a country every month at $45 through World Vision. This amount pays for the child's education, food, shelter and many more so that they can have a better life. They did an article about YZ's contribution and interviewed Daryl. hahaha. They needed a photo of the core and the only nicer one in which everyone was present was during the anniversary. Everyone else in the photo looks nice and presentable, except me. hahaha. You'll understand upon seeing the photo.

That's it folks. Through this week so far, I've learnt to be thankful and grateful for what God has given me whatever the circumstance. I may not go to Hong Kong, but ben and i still have days to continue to work on our relationship.
