I know i haven't blogged in a long long while.
School holidays are finally here. Will be having hols till june 18 when i fly to boston. It sounds somewhat like a holiday but flying to boston is actually studying. But a more fun version of studying.
I have been having chest pains or actually maybe feeling tensed around the chest area the last few days. It's getting a lil hard to breathe sometimes. And i can't sleep well since school holidays started. Always flipping from side to side and waking up in the middle of the night. So i told my mother about it. She actually said that it's the pre-overseas blues, or that's what i translated from canto. haha. My mum went through the same thing before she left for canada last year for a month or so. Ling also went through that before she left for Sydney. I guess i'm going through it cause i'll be going to boston? I don't know. Hope it'll go away. I really want to have some good rest at night. And i am still worried about. Wonder if anyone has a good scientific explanation to why i've been experiencing the tension in my chest and the terrible nights.
I think i've spent the first week of my holidays quite well. Went to the US embassy last friday to settle my visa for boston. Waited for about 2 hrs before it was my turn for the interview. And the interview only took like 5 mins i think. Very nice guy! My friends and i were praying for the nice ones and i got him! :D It was really interesting cause we can't bring in any electronic items, even thumbdrive also cannot bring in. Went shopping with the rest after that and watched 17 again. It was super funny the whole shopping process.
Spent saturday in church and at daniel's party. It was really good cause i got to meet up with old friends. It was good! always good to meet with them. It was quite crazy too with the presents and all.
Went to school on monday to buy the necessary textbooks and watched prata man.
Tues was spent with wheelockies at great world - lunch and free b&j!!!! I know i know. Queuing up for B&J doesn't seem like the wisest thing to do. But hey, we have loads of time. hahaha. Went to US embassy to collect my visa. Paid so much for a piece of paper. So dumb. Oh well, i guess it's necessary la. Can't go to boston without it. Met up with the rest of the wheelockies after that. Caught 'Taken'. It's a great movie!! Some lessons we learnt from the movie - never speak to any ang-moh named peter, never share a cab with a stranger, have a dad who fights better than 007 and is a spy, be a virgin cause you will be able to live longer if you are forced to become a prostitute, look super ugly overseas so you won't get targeted, act super chor-lor when a stranger talks to you and live with your spy dad for the rest of your life!!!! hahaha. okay lame. well, the dad in the show was SO SO SO AMAZING!!! He's better than 007 and mission impossible combined can! All he needs is his body and brains. He can just grab a gun from the enemy and kill them. No special gadgets needed at all.
Hmmmm... Wednesday was spent volunteering for iCreate conference. Packed 300 goodie bags in less than 45 mins. WHEELOCKIES are so efficient. We thought we would all stay till 5.30pm but we finished before 3pm. Cause it was so early..... Syaf, Ama, Izzah, Shron, Vic and myself went KARAOKE!!!!! Cause of the mixture in race in the group.. the songs we sang was also multiracial!!! hahaha. Sang english, chinese, canto, malay and indian songs. I know indian is a very general term cause even indians have dialects. Not sure what dialects we sang in though. Spend 5 hrs singing songs!!! Super high till we were drained and nearly dead during the last 1-2 hrs. hahaha.
Today was spent with my parents in the afternoon and BS at night. Think friday would be the same...
Things i need to do by next week:
- Pack my table and jing's table
- Help mum with the household chores
- Start my assignments
- Plan for HK trip
- Make skirts for SSN
- Upload photos from many years ago (hahaha)
I know there's more. but i can't think of any now. hahaha. If you wanna see any photos, go to my facebook. :D
